Since September I've been working on a documentary titled "Road to Winter Soldier". A story about an Iraq and Afghanistan war veteran who shortly after entering college joined IVAW and championed the immediate withdrawal from Iraq, reparations to its people, and full health benefits for all service members. His name is Bryan Casler.

Bryan testified at Winter Soldier in Washington D.C. and returned to his chapter in Rochester, NY to begin a 4 month process in organizing with over a dozen community groups to put on North East Winter Soldier. The Road to Winter Soldier takes us through some of his history: serving in the Marines, the struggle for healthcare, his family and his anti-war activism.

A DVD jam packed with over 2 hours of extras is in the works (which includes North East Winter Soldier) and will be available for purchase, with all proceeds going to the Rochester chapter of IVAW. The documentary itself will be up for free in the near future, but it'd be great if folks could get copies to help support the chapter before that.
